Product Build Manager

Job Description

We’re looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking Product Build Manager to lead a dynamic production team where quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement sit at the heart of everything they do. \n\nIn this role, you’ll take ownership of delivering complex builds on time and within budget, while developing a highly skilled and motivated team that thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You’ll be the driving force behind operational excellence balancing people leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and smart resource planning to ensure we consistently exceed customer expectations and keep our production capability running at its best.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProvide leadership to the Product Build team, ensuring high-quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery\n\t\nDevelop a motivated, highly skilled, and flexible workforce through training and competency management\n\t\nManage resource planning and adapt to changing production schedules and business priorities\n\t\nEnsure compliance with QSHE policies, audits, and full resolution of CAPAs and SCARs\n\t\nLead and support continuous improvement and internal change initiatives\n\t\nAct as key liaison with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication\n\t\nOversee production execution, including work instructions, MES accuracy, and efficient use of materials and space\n\nWhat we're looking for:\n\n3+ years experience of managing large manufacturing teams in a high paced working environment.\n\t\nProven track record of training / developing workforce to maximise efficiency and engagement.\n\t\nA strong communicator at all levels, with both internal and external stakeholders.\n\t\nIn depth understanding of Electronic Product Build manufacturing processes.\n\t\nExtensive knowledge and experience of equipment and tooling required for Product Build.\n\t\nPrevious experience of mechanical preparation and assembly of enclosures and full product builds.\n\t\nExperience of leading change and improvement projects.\n\t\nA good level of PC literacy, with previous experience of using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint & OneDrive.)\n\nWhat's on offer:\n\nSalary up to £55,000 per annum \n\t\nPension \n\t\nHolidays \n\t\n4 day working week, 9 hour days with every Friday off\n\nIf you have the experience we are looking for and you think you will succeed within this industry and role, apply today
