Health, Safety & Fire Specialist – North Region \n\nLocation\nManchester, Leeds, York or Newcastle areas\nRemote with regional travel\n\nPackage:\n\n£45,000 – £55,000 DOE\n£6,000 car allowance or company car\nFuel card / mileage expenses\n8% employer pension contribution\nRemote and on site working\nOngoing training & development support\nThe Company\nA leading UK property business with a large multi-site portfolio across commercial and mixed-use environments is continuing to invest in the growth of its internal Health, Safety & Fire function, building stronger in-house capability across the UK.\n\nThe Role\nReporting into the Group Head of Health & Safety, you will support a portfolio of sites across the South region, working closely with Facilities and Centre Management teams to provide practical Health, Safety & Fire guidance.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nUndertake Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessments\nReview external assessments and provide recommendations\nSupport site teams with day-to-day H&S and Fire guidance\nDeliver pragmatic and commercially focused solutions\nSupport auditing and continuous improvement initiatives\nBuild strong relationships across regional sites\nAbout You\n\nExperience within Health & Safety and Fire Safety roles\nComfortable managing a regional multi-site portfolio\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills\nCommercially aware, pragmatic and solutions focused\nExperience undertaking and reviewing Fire Risk Assessments and Health & Safety audits\nStrong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety and Fire Safety legislation\nProven experience within FM, property or built environment environments\nAbility to work autonomously and manage workload effectively\nFull UK driving licence\nQualifications & Experience\n\nNEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, with evidence of continued professional development (CPD)\nNEBOSH or NCRQ Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety desirable\nNEBOSH Fire Safety / Fire Risk Management or Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification desirable\nIOSH membership preferred (CertIOSH minimum or working towards CMIOSH)\nPlease click apply to find out more details
