Contracts Manager - Flat Roofing

Location: North West
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Company Van + Fuel Card

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and driven Contracts Manager to oversee and deliver flat roofing projects from pre-construction through to completion.

The successful candidate will manage multiple contracts simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple flat roofing contracts from start to finish
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget
• Oversee site teams, subcontractors, materials, and workmanship quality
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and financial performance
• Manage project risks, programmes, and client expectations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and supply partners
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, professionalism, and excellence across all projects

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within roofing or construction
• Extensive knowledge of flat roofing systems, including:
  • Single ply
  • Built-up felt
  • Liquid roofing
  • EPDM
  • GRP/Fibreglass
  • Green roofs
• Strong commercial awareness and project management skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• Full UK driving licence (essential)

Desirable Qualifications

• SMSTS
• CSCS
• IOSH / NEBOSH
• Roofing-related qualifications or accreditations
