Collaboration is central to their ethos; they work closely with clients, design teams, and contractors to develop solutions tailored to their specific needs.\n\nThis company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced BMS Service Engineer to join their growing team, servicing smart, safe, sustainable, healthy buildings in and around central London.\n\nThe ideal candidate would be a highly skilled, professional, and driven individual with extensive knowledge of the BMS sector and the ability to service building management systems and associated mechanical/electrical plant in accordance with approved contract documentation, specifications, and drawings.\n\nThis role will primarily be based on sites around central London.\n\nResponsibilities\nMaintain and service various control systems (Tridium, Distech, Schneider, Delta, Centraline, KNX).\nCarry out PPM, reactive works, and small projects.\nAttend to client requests in a timely and professional manner.\nPerform system checks and diagnostics to ensure systems are running optimally.\nWork alongside other engineers and contractors to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects.\nMaintain accurate records of all maintenance and service works carried out.\nAttend training sessions and stay up to date with industry trends and developments.\n\nQualifications\nExperience working as a BMS Service Engineer.\nIn-depth knowledge and experience working with at least two of the following systems: Tridium, Distech, Schneider, Delta, Centraline.\nAbility to diagnose and repair complex technical issues.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nGood problem-solving and analytical skills.\nWillingness to participate in the on-call rota.\n\nBenefits\nCompetitive salary of GBP £50,000+ per annum\nOpportunity for voluntary overtime\nExcellent opportunities for career development (external and in-house training) and progression\nCompany car or car allowance\nCompany pension scheme\nPrivate health insurance\n\nSmart Search Technical is a specialist recruitment company operating in technical engineering sectors across the UK & beyond.
