Role Overview\n\nThe Assistant Site Manager plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of construction projects by assisting with daily site operations. Working closely with the Site Manager, the Assistant Site Manager helps ensure works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager looking to develop their career within site management.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupport the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the construction site as an Assistant Site Manager\n\nAssist in supervising subcontractors, direct labour and site activities\n\nMonitor and promote health, safety and environmental standards on site\n\nCarry out quality inspections, snagging and progress checks\n\nAssist with site programming, material ordering and deliveries\n\nMaintain accurate site records, diaries and documentation\n\nCommunicate effectively with colleagues, subcontractors and suppliers in the Assistant Site Manager role\n\nSkills & Experience\n\nPrevious experience in a construction site-based role, ideally as an Assistant Site Manager\n\nGood knowledge of UK health and safety legislation\n\nStrong organisational, communication and teamwork skills\n\nWillingness to take responsibility and develop within the Assistant Site Manager position
