Accounts Assistant | £25,000-£26,000 | Bolton | AAT Study Support Provided\n\n Axon Moore is pleased to be working with a rapidly growing business based in Bolton who are looking for a trainee accounts assistant to join their finance team. \n\n We are looking for an intelligent and ambitious individual who is looking to pursue a career in accounting and finance with AAT study support on offer.\n\n Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include supporting with the purchase ledger function for the business, with potential to increase responsibilities over time. \n\n The ideal candidate would preferably have some experience working within an office environment, ideally within finance, or has started/has the desire to start their AAT qualifications.\n\n Full training will be provided.\n \n Key Responsibilities and Duties:\n\nProcessing supplier invoices, matching them to purchase order\nAssisting in the set-up of new suppliers\nCarry out supplier statement reconciliations\nResolving any invoice queries and disputes\nMaintaining accurate records onto the system\nAssisting with credit control activities, including chasing outstanding payments\nPost and reconcile daily cashbook transactions\nSupport month-end activities\nAd hoc tasks and duties as directed by the Financial Controller\nRequired Skills and Experience: \n\nExperience working within an office environment- ideally within a finance department but not essential\nStudying/desire to study AAT qualifications\nGood communication skills and telephone manner\nStrong attention to detail and organisational skills\nAbility to work independently and part of a team\nBenefits & Package\n\nStarting salary up to £26,000\n37.5 hours per week\nAAT study support\nCompany pension scheme\nPlus other additional benefits\n“Our local Lancashire Axon Moore team recruit all accounting and finance roles from CFO to transactional finance on both a temporary and permanent basis.
